It is also possible to add another driver to the rental agreement, but the number of drivers permitted is restricted to the number of seats of the vehicle rented from Dollar Linate Airport. The cross border fee is payable by customers who wish to take their Dollar vehicle across the Italian border into Switzerland or one of the other neighbour states. To hire a Dollar Linate Airport car drivers must have held their driving license for at least a full 12-month period prior to the start of their rental agreement with Dollar, and they must be able to show a valid form of ID and have a credit card in the name of the renter. It also includes Loss Damage Waiver (excess applies). The Dollar rate quoted online includes unlimited kilometers, all local taxes and VAT at 22%, airport fees and Theft Protection (excess applies). If need a to pick-up a rental car at night, check the rental counter opening hours, and look out for out-of-hours information. On Saturday and Sunday the central Milan office is open from 08.00 to 14.00 hours only. The office is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 08.00 to 20.00 hours. Visitors to Northern Italy's Lombardy region arriving without a car rental reservation can still find car hire in central Milan: there is a Dollar office at Via Alfredo Cappellini 10, 20124 Milano (tel +39 02 6698 5151). Only on Wednesdays is the service desk open for a limited time: from 09.00 to 21.00 hours. The Dollar Linate Airport rental desk is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 07.00 to midnight. Reservations can be made using the form above. Dollar car rental at Linate Airport can accept after hour returns customers with a reservation should simply contact Dollar staff at the terminal on tel +39 02 70 200 256 to make their after-hour return arrangements. The Dollar/Hertz service desk is located inside the terminal, in the Arrivals area, where a Rent A Car hall offers travelers a wide choice of transport options.
